Moody Country Garden Photo Shoot

One of my current branding clients is a garden designer, and one of my jobs for her is to photograph her lovely portfolio of gardens.

Last week we shot two of her gardens in one day – something I didn’t think was going to be possible, as photo shoots are a lengthly old game and always take much longer than you think they will. Normally I’ll allocate a day per shoot, but we started early and despite the cloudy weather half way through the day, we did it. I actually decided to use the grey clouds to my advantage to create some dramatic, almost eerie pictures for a couple of them. You can’t avoid grey clouds in this country, so you might as well try and work with them if you can. And that’s fine, as we’ll go back and re-shoot some of the areas on a bright sunny day if we need to. I also managed to get a few candid shots of Elisa and her little girl. I just couldn’t resist…

I’m still in the process of creating her website and social media sites so when they are done I’ll link them here.
